The Lucia Meditation light sessions experience is uniquely amazing on its own. (for information click here) The sessions that come with the system are mind blowing. It will undoubtedly activate your pineal. The custom sessions that I create and offer at Inner Light Journeys are designed more towards let’s say… sandblasting your pineal… with gravel and small pebbles instead of sand. There’s still an inherent meditative aspect but the purpose of my sessions generally lean more towards psychedelia, colorscapes, and high intensity.

I love creating, inventing, and seeing if I can take things to the next level. These session have done that and have given me the ability to offer something to my clients that is a “Part of Me” (a Tool reference).

As a filmmaker, one of the things that first attracted me to the Lucia light (other than being a moth) was the ability to create custom light sessions. I am able to pair them with songs, essentially creating a musically synced light show for any genre or song.

The cool thing about the light experience is that your brain does most of the “heavy lifting” when it comes to synchronicity. I can theoretically create a light session to say Tool’s “Fear Inolculum” and if Tool isn’t your “jam” you could listen to a shamanic drumming track, om meditation, crystal bowl sound bath, a guided meditation, or your favorite song and still reap the benefits of an amazing session.

One thing to note is that the experience is different for everyone, every time. A specific session can be amazing one week and then it’s not as mind blowing the second time and vice versa.

Let me explain. The light affects your brain activity. Going under the light, your brain is in a different state than when you finish a session. There are a million different variables that can affect your experience, caffeine, sleep, diet, medication, etc.

For those that are looking for a personalized experience, I offer intensity and frequency assessments to make sure that you get the most out of your sessions. I have designed a series of assessments to determine which frequencies and intensities resonate with you.

I’ve spent since May of 2019 evaluating on how to unlock to potential of this technology. From analyzing the multiple variables the light can offer, teaching myself how to program, and creating custom light sessions and I think I’m finding it.

I’m currently working on building a catalog of the light sessions that I’ve built and have begun listing them for sale (see the bottom of this page). I’ll do my best to give accurate descriptions and provide a place for people to give feedback on them.

  • Every purchase comes with 30 minutes of phone or video tech support. I don’t want you to purchase something that you can’t use.
  • They do not have a “dead zone” in them. I mean that when you press play, they start. there’s no 15 – 90 second delay before the light turns on.
  • It has taken me a long time to learn how to program, research, and build these and I work hard to make sure that I’m proud of each one.
  • Every purchase is for one license, meaning 1 purchase per light.
  • If any irregularities are discovered you will be banned from any and all products and support.

Tech support and training

After spending 10+ years in retail management at Radioshack, having an electrical engineering background, and programming experience, I know a bit about technology, computer systems, and explaining technology. I’m happy to help when and where I can. For technical help with the Lucia I charge $50/hour and will ALWAYS strive to go over and beyond your expectations.

The Lucia system is very non-intuitive and programming using the session editor is “quirky” to say the least. You have to learn how to approach programming differently. If you’re interested in trainings (virtual or in person), please feel free to reach out for a quote based around your needs.

There are two different sets of “demos” that come with the practitioner light system. One of the first things that I wanted to create was a different way to introduce the light to people.

In my experience, I don’t enjoy when frequencies or brightness levels “jump” as it tends to jolt me out of the state that I’m in. I know that there are benefits to having those jumps but just like with music, the experience comes down to personal tastes. When there’s a delay between when I start a session and when the light actually starts, there have been times when my clients actually open their eyes because they’re not sure if the session has started yet or not, my sessions take care of that issue.

As per the training, all sessions need to start with the demos and this one session covers all three demos in an easier way to not only explain the differences (maximum brightness) but to reduce waiting time between loading the three different sessions. There is a 10 second pause between each session so the practitioner can pause the light and with it off, they can check in with the client, change the music, or readjust anything.

The “Light Intensity Assessment” contains three different mini sessions:

Low (25% max brightness – 2 min) I actually have this session “synced” up with a very inappropriate guided meditation (LINK) (I like to use humor to help my clients relax a little). On this one I pause the session as soon as the light is completely off and prior to the “and as you slowly open your eyes” line.

Medium (50% max brightness – 3 min) I generally play some shamanic drumming, singing bowls sound bath, or om meditations during this part of the session. It gradually works up to the 50% intensity and there’s a fade out at the end to pause the session.

Full (100% max brightness – 5 min) I’ve recently been playing Massive Attack’s song Teardrop for this session and have had a lot of people really enjoy it. Again, just like the others, it gradually works up to the full 100% brightness at the end.

This is the title track of Tool’s album, Fear Inoculum released in 2019. As far as Tool songs go, it still rocks but is more on the lighter side of spectrum.

I am in NO WAY selling the audio track. You can purchase it from iTunes HERE. This purchase is only for the light session that I created. Due to the limitations of the Lucia, there is no way to “stop” the session automatically at the end of the song. I generally hit the stop button when playing the session with approximately 0:11 left, after the final drum beat.

Mind Meld

Mind Meld Lucia Light Session

This is by FAR my favorite session I’ve made to this point. 🙂
Initially I named this the way I did in honor of Star Trek and because several times it felt like the colors and patterns are being “pulled” from my brain (I’m not expecting that to make sense to anyone but you’ll see what I mean if you buy or try it).

I’ve seen every color I can imagine (some more vibrant (like a neon pink) than I have before), multiple “oil slick rainbow” patterns, sacred geometry, some Alex Grey-esque imagery, as well as the usual honeycomb and other patterns. 🙂

All three versions are similar: Psychedelic, colorful, Intense yet relaxing.
The sessions start off with the Halogen fading in over the first minute and a bit. Then they go straight into the colors. All three versions are constantly changing for the most part. There are a few “waves of solid light and then a fading halogen at the end to bring people back down softly.

Mind Meld Smooth 30 uses variations of a few frequencies

Mind Meld Smooth 60 adds a few more frequencies.

Mind Meld Smooth 90 adds a few more frequencies and revisits some of the highlights.
